A Life-long career in
entertainment
Over 4 decades ago, young Mr. Ebright
appeared on Television for the first time as a 10-year-old. Beginning
with young audiences, he began writing and producing plays, puppet shows
and magic shows and won talent contests. Scott was
classically trained to play the French Horn in symphony orchestras
and received formal voice training. And
when the Beatles invaded America in 1963 with their style of rock and roll, young Mr. Ebright taught himself to play the drums and began a
long career as a musician that lasted for the next 17 years.
During
the 1960's and 1970's, Scott
performed in
recording groups and bands throughout California.
He managed and promoted several show bands, and he is given credit for coining the
phrase "A Tribute to..." in an era that launched musical "Tributes" to
Elvis, the Beatles and the Beach Boys. Eventually he phased out of the
LIVE stage band career and became an Entertainment Director and Head
Disc Jockey for many nightclubs. He was among
the first disc jockeys to perform publicly
throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He
spearheaded the new medium of DJ music into an energetic and classy show
which was an immediate hit with audiences all over California and
Arizona.
In the role of Talent Agent,
Producer, Writer and Personal Manager, Scott operated a talent and
public relations agency in California, Arizona, Michigan and Florida.
Many of his acts appeared on national television shows in the 1970's:
"In Concert", "Midnight Special", "American Bandstand", "The Donnie and
Marie Osmond Show", "Donahue", and "The Jerry
Lewis Telethon (Vegas production). He concentrated on booking acts in
the Sunbelt states of Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, and California.
Nightclub Start-ups
and Marketing

Considered a leading authority in the
entertainment field, Mr. Ebright's music and marketing knowledge helped
launch several successful nightclubs inside Resorts,
Hotels and National Restaurant chains like the Hungry Tiger and Charlie
Brown's Restaurants. From the San Francisco Bay Area to
Sacramento, and from Phoenix to Los Angeles, he gained respectability
during the 1980's by promoting over 33 highly successful nightclubs that
far surpassed all profit goals.
