Politically Correct... or just plain Good Taste?

Our shows are "G" rated and we are proud of our 3-decade track-record of providing safe and politically correct entertainment for corporate clients. We have enjoyed a long and successful career using our special mix of light-hearted humor and suspense. Also, we never use knives, guns, or fake blood to "stiff" our victims. Instead, we use more clever and unique methods to commit murder.

Customized Scripts?

The mystery plays we perform stand tall as professional, proven entertainment quality. Our scripts are written to incorporate all the best elements of humor, intrigue, and believability.   All of our plays are adaptable to a more structured team building format, since team building was the root foundation of our company.

Buyer Beware: Some mystery companies try to win your favor by promising that a customized script is the best way you should do your event. This might sound tantalizing, but use your logic: will a customized script really be better than a pre-written script!?!?

The answer to the above question is a resounding "NO". After all, what if everyone in show business always used brand new scripts and never had rehearsals?  What kind of sloppy mess would that be? An effective script takes several weeks to months to write and perfect. Then we add years of performances where we fine tune and polish the script to optimum performance quality. A play that has never been "live-audience-tested" is risky and never is as good as a rehearsed play. If Broadway and movie producers are smart enough to avoid a one-time, "green" performance, ...SHOULDN'T YOU?

Some degree of "custom tweaking" is okay in our scripts! We can insert a few lines of information about certain guests' names or we can refer to key phrases in our dialogue at your event that will add a touch of personal branding.

Practice makes perfect - still the best rule!

However, if your event calls for lots of company branding, name-dropping, mention of business products, programs or concepts added into the play, then experience has taught us to avoid diluting the impact of our plays. We may recommend you seek another style of entertainment rather than trying to fool you or ourselves. The long, dusty road of experience has shown us that customized, "never-performed" scripts are a recipe for less than optmum results. This is especially true if outside people with far less play writing or acting experience attempt to get involved with our creative writing process, thereby re-writing our scripts. "If it ain't broke...then why try to fix it?"
